There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. It provides fast incremental file transfer by transferring only the differences between the source and the destination. For those computers that it will not install properly on, the error messages are similar to this: rsync is a fast and versatile command-line utility for synchronizing files and directories between two locations over a remote shell, or from/to a remote Rsync daemon. srcurl must specify a directory, bucket, or bucket subdirectory.
However, on some computers it will not install, even though we have went ahead and uninstalled it using the uninstall/remove programs feature in the Control Panel. The gsutil rsync command makes the contents under dsturl the same as the contents under srcurl, by copying any missing files/objects (or those whose data has changed), and (if the -d option is specified) deleting any extra files/objects.
